Fairchild Wellness Retreat is adorable, cozy, away from the hustle and bustle of city life and very welcoming. I loved the initial tour–hearing the history of the house and of the indigenous Spirit protecting the property.
This cozy little spot of magic is a wonderful place to come and relax and refresh your soul. There is a warm and friendly feel to the whole place. Cheryl is a gracious hostess who offers a wonderful experience for all. You won’t be disappointed with your stay. There’s no place like it!
I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. It was very relaxing–just what the “doctor ordered.” I love the creative design/decor. The flowers on the doorstep were a lovely surprise. I am so very pleased with everything. It was more than I was expecting. I will definitely recommend this retreat to my family and friends. My group had a wonderful experience. We loved the complimentary yoga class. Being able to hang out in the wellness center after our yoga lesson and just do whatever – visit, decorate glasses, and play games that we brought along. We had such a wonderful experience. I hope to come again with my gal pals.
I enjoyed the beautiful, unique Bohemian Bunkhouse The bunks were perfect for our girls’ night and all the accommodations were so perfect from the complimentary yoga class to the delicious breakfast. The beds were so comfortable. The bunkhouse was like your own private cottage. This is a place where you feel relaxed and welcomed by the graciousness and warm hospitality of owner, Cheryl Miller. She made us feel relaxed and welcome.
It’s a little slice of magic 20 minutes from Lawrence. You have thought of everything for your guests’ needs and comfort: outlets, eye masks, make-up remover, etc. Everything! Amazing accommodations, welcoming energy. Inviting, relaxing environment.
Wonderful atmosphere, great amenities, the hammocks were awesome! The yoga exercises were well-received and I’m so relaxed.
Absolutely a must-do playground for adults! There’s something for everyone–exercise, healthy foods, gardening, meditation, relaxation. You an reconnect with the child within. Cheryl has created an instant energizer center that is welcoming and joy-filled.

It is such a great place to come and relax and stay to recharge your batteries. It is so peaceful here. It was a truly wonderful experience.
The space was private and perfect with plenty of room for 10 active people. Very accommodating. Bunks are comfortable and the food was appetizing and organic.
Cheryl, the owner, has thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and joy-filled. The bunkhouse is a work of art! The swing yoga class was not only fun, but it allowed my body to do things it hasn’t done in awhile. The decor is beautiful, the attention to detail–amazing!
The beautiful, creative decor made everything so uplifting and relaxing. All of the amenities made me feel welcomed and happy to be here. I really had fun with the yoga experiences. The bunkhouse was like getting away to an “adult” summer camp. Bunk beds were adorable. It is cozy and gives off a peaceful, positive feeling.
